Gail Kouame successfully completed her first marathon in 5 hours, 1 minute and 55 seconds and benefited ICMRT with more than $1,200.00. Gail used this opportunity to inform and educate others about our organization and our program to help the fight against malaria in the Ivory Coast. $1,200 will purchase approximately 171 “Perma-Nets”, long lasting insecticide treated bed nets. The nets will be distributed to pregnant women and women with young children. Each net will provide coverage for at least 3 people: mothers and their young children, so this effort represents assistance to over 500 individuals!
